  1. The dream: Salvador

    SailBlogs &bull Feb 12, 2012

The city is really old and then there is a brand new city which is absolutely amazing with sky scrapers everywhere. Amazing as usual we were immediately helped to do our first Med style mooring. The old city is being re-located for the World Cup Soccer and the Olympic Games but what amazes is the fact that the old buildings… Full Story »

  3. The dream: Hi from Salvador - Brazil

    SailBlogs &bull Feb 12, 2012

  6. S.V. Gratitude: Ready to go!

    SailBlogs &bull Dec 16, 2011

Finally, we are under way! This year was one for several upgrades to Gratitude: new, beefier batteries; solar panels to be less dependent on the diesel generator (not to mention "greener"); a second compressor for the refrigerator, dedicating the one installed last year to the freezer; and a new inverter/charger to replace the old one that went kaput last year and with more charging capacity when connected to shore current or on the generator.
